So I go on this rant every single time Arsenal go on a bad run.

Ozil 100% of the time get's complete blame for any bad run. If they are winning and he doesn't get a goal or an assist no one bats an eye but they go He may not be on the score sheet but he's been instrumental with the link up play and ball movement during this game.

As soon as there is a bad run irregardless of what actually happened in the game (meaning, actually watching the game) they go "Ozil has disappeared his lack of effort and performance is costing them games"
    ----

This irritates the shit outta me because in both games we started out fine and he was involved with link up play because we actually attacked. Then in both games we attempted to sit on 1 goal leads which invited pressure which also meant both Everton and City crowded Ozil out because we don't have Cazorla on the pitch.

Xhaka as much as I approve of his passing ability isn't Cazorla and he still struggles with keeping possession so unless we have a lot of space he can't make a pass. Ozil needs to have someone else who's capable of doing what he does in order to prevent teams from focusing on him.
City didn't let Ozil have more than half a yard of space let alone touch the ball in 2nd half.

but of course. It's Ozils fault.
-He's too lazy (He usually covers the most ground during a game or close to it)
-He Doesn't defend. (yes and no. he's not going to track all the way back but he'll press he does slip up and just not bother sometimes)

People always ignore the fact that when Ozil struggles it's typically when Caz isn't on the pitch.
Mustafi is a hell of a passer for a defender which helps but with Gabriel there(who's held his own for the most part) it means the midfielders have to cheat back towards him a little bit which results in Ozil/Sanchez trying to pick up the ball from their own half or deeper which means nothing is going to get accomplished.

Ozil took the ball from Left Back in the game against city a few times. It's not like he isn't trying to help and make things go it's because he's not getting the chances to do so and has to do things like try and start an attack from Left back which isn't going to work when teams like City are pressing you so far back your best mover of the ball is playing it out from the back.

I missed the first half of the City-Arsenal game and I swear I didn't realise Ozil was playing for the first 15 mins at least

Cazorla has been your most important player this year. When he doesn't play Arsenal suffer

Although EA can make it quite hard to win games, if you aren't in Div 1 a .500 record should be expected because say you are on average a div 2 player, you might hold your division 3 times in a row, then get promoted, then go straight back down and then maybe get relegated again and move up so your number of wins/losses will be similar. The only time your wins should be a lot higher than your defeats is when you start playing and if you are a good player you go from div 10 to div 2 with consecutive promotions

Sell your whole team and try something different like a hybrid with lesser known players. Also try playing online single matches since they are more relaxing and you don't have to worry about getting relegated
    Quote from FutHeadTimmy >>

I had the same but the other way around. Last year I won division 1 multiple times.

This year I struggled hard to reach division 3 with my very basic team (no money spent on FIFA points). Then I had one season in which I almost relegated back to div 4; it went bad, I had to use all 10 matches to gather enough points to stay in div 3. The next season I won almost all my matches, became champion in div 3, then champion in 2 and now I'm in div 1 and had a free qualification for the coming weekend league. I'm feeling really strong at the moment and I'm looking forward to the weekend league and after that I want to get the div 1 title!

I remember I had something similar in Fifa 15 where I was stuck in Div 7 then I got consecutive promotions to Div 2

    Quote from sludgepipe >>

I wouldn't even bother if i was you. I used to use skill moves quite a bit on 16, but they seem to have been nerfed on this edition and i have pretty much given up on using them now as they just don't work anymore for me.

I've found the same problem. Ball rolls are unusable now when last year they were really helpful and even roulettes don't feel that good now

To be fair, Leicester won the league last year using park the bus for most of their season hitting teams on the break with Vardy. That being said, this is not real life, Leicester defended like their lives depended on it, unlike the game where you can put your controller down to achieve the same level of shut out. EA shouldn't reward this zero skill bullshit.

Most retarded comment I've seen on this forum.
Really, how would you describe their style of play last year, did you see many of their games over 90 minutes?
They were bottom of the league for possession, lower than even relegated teams.
They were almost top for long balls and bottom for short passing, by far the lowest of any champions by a country mile.
Are you a plastic Manc or RS by the way, feel free to give us your expert opinion.
Leicester played some of the greatest counter attacking football I've watched, they didn't park the bus. Bottom for league possession, where on earth have you got that stat from?

Alas they also beat Liverpool 2-0, and Man City 3-1.

And also I'm a Liverpool fan but not sure what that has got to do with it
Drinkwater plays a long ball, Vardy chases it and beats the keeper and repeat. Not that amazing really and Leicester had 3rd lowest possesion and worst pass success percentage in the league. If teams defended a bit deeper (not PTB deep) against them they wouldn't have won the league

Pretty much 90% of people I play against the latency bars are green/maximum, they still 'back out'.

Worse still, sometimes when the latency bars are orange, people DON'T backout.

Is it possible the latency bar is different from each side?

E.G. I see green latency bars but they see orange or red? I doubt it but wondered....

Surely it cannot be different at each side as you both make up the connection quality level between you.

I had a game once on seasons that was fine for me, but the other guy asked for a mutual quit (I have no idea how he did it) and told me his game was lagging even though I didn't have any issues

    posted a message on Fouls

anyone encounter this/know how to circumvent it - I get the ball into feet and my opponent fouls me enough to make my player stumble but nothing is called, I still have the ball but the rhythm is lost. Fouls in this game are bullshit. Honestly, completely random calls every game. But these tetchy fouls they get away with. Another is when you're looking for the one two but he fouls the receiving player to the floor and so your pass goes aimless; nothing given either

This annoys me so much. Your player jumps to avoid the challenge but loses momentum which means you lose the ball or at best the attack is slowed down. Why can't the player just go down under the bad tackle and then at least you get something out of it, whereas normally you get penalised for your opponents badly timed slide tackle

On a side note, where's the old United thread gone?

The old thread that was made years ago disapeared when the gltiches were going on in Futhead and random threads were being deleted. This is the 'new' United thread but Candy renamed it to reflect your season so far Smile
