posted a message on Does switching a player's position ingame affect his performance, no matter what position?

    Hi guys,

I couldn't find any help about this online, so if you have any ideas I would appreciate a lot.

I've seen many people (specially the pros, like Huge Gorilla and Fifalize here in Brazil) starting the matches with a formation that benefits all the players they would like to use, in order to get 100% of squad chemestry (no matter if the ST is at CDM with position changing cards etc., the thing is to get 100%). Then, they stop the match at the first opportunity and switch formations and positions to get everyone in their right place and enjoy the 100% chemestry normally. That works, I get it. It's very smart.

When I started to make some research about this, I've realized it's indeed a great alternative for making great squads, as it enhances the chemestry opportunities and options for hybrids. But I have a main question: if you switch a player's position ingame, will he perform as good as he would in his main position, no matter what position is that? Let's make a weird example: if I move Dybala ingame to GK, will he perform as great as he would as ST? (I know he is bad at goalkeeping, but let's say I pass the ball to him and try to get to attack running, dribbling etc.)

If the answer is yes, then it clears it all. But that doesn't seem so, as it's very unrealistic.

If, on the other hand, the answer is not, I get confused. What's the criterea?

Making some more plausible examples: I believe Bale would be a great CM, as he does have the stats to perform beastly there. But he doesn't even have a secondary position (the list of positions you get when you go through player's details in game or outside UT), so, theoretically, he can play only as RW. If I move him ingame for CM (or ST, or RB, etc.), would he lose performance stats and play worse?

And what happens if the player does have the position you want, but as a secondary one? Let's take for example Ronaldo. Ronaldo is a LW but has ST as secondary position. If I move him ingame, will he play 100% exclusively as a LW or a ST?

In other words: do these secondary positions mean something in UT? I believe addressing this would give all of us a lot of extra options when building squads.

    Happy New Year, guys. Thanks!

posted a message on Prancing Bird celebration not working

Well maybe an answer, but I've noticed a lot of people having the same problem with this celebration, specifically. It's weird, because all other ones work perfectly.

    Hey guys,

I've noticed this since Fifa 15: I bought this celebration from the catalogue, but when I press R1+square nothing happens. Does anyone know why?

I use de alternate controller settings, btw. Thanks!

posted a message on Brazilian Legue players on TOTW

This is a fair possibility, but it results in something strange: as any competition, Brasileirão gets better when it comes to the final rounds. If your guess is true, we will never have on Fifa those players who get impressive results on these rounds.

I didn't know that but, even though, there are some other players during the Campeonato Brasileiro that deserved a card (hat tricks etc.).

Other problem involving Brazilian League is that its schedule is the opposite of the European. The last game of the 2015 Campeonato will be played this Sunday, and won't be back until March or April.

posted a message on Brazilian Legue players on TOTW

Yesterday happened the second game of Cup of Brazil Finals, between two very old rivals: Palmeiras and Santos.

Palmeiras goalkeeper Fernando Prass defended one penalty (he had already done it on quarterfinals), and scored another, besides two or three other miracles during the other matches.

Palmeiras have won the Cup on, and certainly wouldn't without him.

If EA doesn't insert him on TOTW next week, it's the final proof they have inserted the Brazilian clubs due to the high demand from the public, but they actually doesn't give a damn about it. Which is pretty sad.

    Sorry for the outflow.

posted a message on Conmebol squad - a bit hard actually

Ok guys this is my first post in the forum.

In past days I've been thinking about some tough squad challenges, and the first one that came into my mind was a Conmebol one.

The rules I came up were the following:

    • One player from each Conmebol country;
    • All players must be gold (except for Bolivia that has no golds)
    • Maximum possible chemestry
    • One country may have two players, once Conmebol has only 10 members

My best result was this (the chemestry is 75):

    Conmebol squad

What do you think? Any better ideas? Thanks!
